Michael Warren, Circuit Court Judge
Oakland County Bi-Centennial

Appointed by Governor John Engler in 2002, Judge Michael Warren was elected in 2004, 2006, and 2012.  

 

Judge Warren served on the State Board of Education from 1999-2002. He has been heavily involved in drafting the Social Studies Standards for the State of Michigan.

 

Recently, Judge Warren was appointed as the chairman of Oakland County’s upcoming Bicentennial Celebration.

 

He and his then 10 year old daughter Leah co-founded Patriot Week, which is celebrated in several states (www.PatriotWeek.org). Patriot Week renews America’s spirit by celebrating the First Principles, Founding Fathers and other Patriots, vital documents and speeches, and flags that make America the greatest nation in world history. Leah and he co-produce Patriot Lessons, a community television show focusing on American civics and history.

 

He teaches Constitutional Law at Western Michigan Cooley Law School, and has written extensively on education and legal matters, including his book, America’s Survival Guide, How to Stop America’s Impending Suicide by Reclaiming Our First Principles and History (www.AmericasSurvivalGuide.com).
