Lee Juett, General Chairman, U.S. Amateur Golf Championship
Greatness Will be Made at Oakland Hills

Lee Juett is a lifelong resident of Birmingham/Bloomfield area and graduated from Brother Rice and MSU.  He in the machine tool sales and distribution industry and is past President of the American Machine Tool Distributors Association. 

 

Juett has been very active in community activities including Chairman of the Board of Directors at Brother Rice, President of the Golf Association of Michigan, a member of the Oakland Hills Country Club Board of Directors, and has been involved in many golf championships.  

 

Lee has opened the door for the Senior Men's Club to have a designated hole throughout the U.S Amateur Championship to be played at Oakland Hills August 15-21, 2016.

Discussion - Charles "Chuck" Moss, JD, SMC Member
                            Regional Transit Authority of S.E. Michigan

SMCB Member Chuck Moss serves on the Regional Transit Authority of Southeastern Michigan Board and teaches Political Science at Oakland University.

 

He served in the Michigan State House where he chaired the Appropriations Committee. Before serving in the State legislature, Chuck was an Oakland County Commissioner, Birmingham City Commissioner, and Mayor of Birmingham. He also served as Chairman of the Oakland County Public Transit Authority, on the SEMCOG Executive Board, and the Michigan Association of Counties Board.

 

Prior to politics, Chuck practiced law, was political columnist for the Detroit News, and hosted "Eye on Detroit," a radio talk show. 

 

He earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit/Mercy.
