Michigan’s Moonshot: Our Automotive Future and How We Get There
Senator Mallory McMorrow is serving her first term in the Michigan Senate’s 13th district, covering Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Clawson, Rochester, Rochester hills, Royal Oak, and Troy.
McMorrow gained more than a decade of experience in product design, media and advertising through her work with Mazda, Mattel, Gawker Media, Hearst and other global brands. She brings a fresh, creative and collaborative approach to addressing and solving some of our state’s most complex issues.
As a state senator, McMorrow is focused on increasing our state’s competitiveness by supporting what makes Michigan unique – our people, unparalleled history of manufacturing and innovation, and our Great Lakes. She will work to diversify our economy by creating more opportunities for small businesses, provide our kids with a world-class education, fight for access to health care and clean water for all Michiganders, and ensure we fix our roads.
Senator McMorrow serves on the Senate Economic and Small Business Development Committee as Minority Vice Chair and is a member of the Senate Energy and Technology and Insurance and Banking Committees.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the University of Notre Dame.
She resides in Royal Oak with her husband, Ray, and their rescue dog, Detroit.
