Kelly Herron, Executive Administrator, Cabrini Clinic

Kelly Herron is the Executive Director of the nation’s oldest free clinic, Cabrini Clinic, in Corktown, Detroit, Michigan.

 

While at Cabrini Clinic, Kelly has worked to create a health coverage literacy program to support enrolling, using, and retaining overage. The clinic continues to advocate for and provide quality healthcare to every person who walks through the door. 

 

Ms. Herron earned her master’s in pastoral studies from Sacred Heart Major Seminary and studied Clinical Pastoral Education at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.

 

She has worked as a hospice Chaplain and continues to volunteer with her family.

Maria Williams has worked at the Baldwin Public Library for three years, and has been the Head of Adult Services since December of 2014.

 

Prior to joining the Baldwin team she worked as a market research analyst for the Los Angeles business consulting firm Growthink, as a resource specialist at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, as an assistant customer service manager at Comcast, and as an English teacher in Quito, Ecuador .

 

She holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. She is an avid reader and moviegoer, and an enthusiastic home cook. She lives in Detroit with a tall firefighter and a sassy kitty cat.
