Inside Michigan Politics, the state’s leading political trade journal, recently recognized Tom Hoisington for outstanding performance by naming him one of the top five lobbyists in Michigan. Tom has been a veteran of the Lansing political scene for over 38 years, having held staff positions in both the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives.
Tom, a native of Lansing, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English History from Michigan State University. He is married to Louise Alderson, a Lansing District Judge. Their three children, Joshua, Lindsay and Jeff, are all college graduates.

"Judson Center and the Challenges Presented to Non-Profits in the Present Environment"
Dave Zimmer recently served as interim CEO of Judson Center as a volunteer while a search was held for a new CEO. He has served on the Board of Trustees for over 30 years and has been involved in initiatives from organizing a national seminar and competition for not-for-profit organizations to rewriting its manual.
He is also a past President of Birmingham Rotary Club and serves on the steering committee of the Not-For-Profit Leadership Collaborative which includes many of the CEO's of Southeast Michigan not-for profits and the Harvard Business School Club of Michigan. He has been a member of SMCB since 2010 and has served in several roles and is currently serving on the Legacy Committee.
