Rich Robinson has worked for the public purpose throughout his career beginning as a Peace Corps volunteer. He has been Executive Director of the nonpartisan Michigan Campaign Finance Network Since 2001.

 

The Michigan Campaign Finance Network is a nonpartisan, nonprofit coalition of organizations and individuals concerned about the influence of money in politics and the need for campaign finance reform in Michigan. 

 

Rich has a BS, MA and Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan. He is a native of Sault Ste. Marie.

                               Furnishing Foundations for Successful Lives and its Challenges

Robert (Rob) Boyle led the turnaround of the Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan by embracing for-profit principals and nonprofit best practices.  He will discuss the challenges of running a charity organization in a changing economy, as well as the Furniture Bank’s important mission of providing beds and furniture to local children and families in need.

 

Rob is recognized as an expert in his field, previously serving on the Leadership Team of the Furniture Bank Association of North America.  In his ten-year tenure with the Furniture Bank, the organization has provided 12,000 families with more than 50,000 items of furniture.
