William R. Browning is an acclaimed television producer whose work has been recognized with several awards including 12 Telly Awards and a 2006 Emmy nomination for the documentary From Soldier to Citizen, A History of the Detroit VA Healthcare System.

 

A principal component of the Volunteer and Community Relations (VCR), the Detroit VAVS is one of the largest volunteer programs in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and the Metro-Detroit area.

 

There is a corps of more than 1,200 volunteers who provide many important functions throughout the medical center and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable.

Discussion Kenneth M. Kernen, MD, Beaumont Health System's Urology Center for                                       Excellence - "New Developments in the Management of Prostate Cancer"

Kenneth M. Kernen, MD earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his urology residency at Beaumont Hospital. 

 

He serves as both the Chief of Urology at Beaumont's Troy campus and as Co-Director of Beaumont Health System's Urology Center for Excellence.

 

Dr. Kernen has authored numerous papers dealing with strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.  In 2014, U.S. News and World Report recognized him as one of Michigan's top urologists.
