Terry Hamilton is the President of 534-bed St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, with locations in Madison Heights and Warren, Michigan. Previously, he served for four years as Senior Vice President of Operations for the St. John Providence Health System in Warren.  He comes to St. John Providence from Ascension Health’s Indianapolis ministry, where he led financial operations for St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent, St. Vincent Women’s Hospital, and the St. Vincent Stress Center. 

 

Terry is no stranger to Detroit, having spent fourteen years with the health care consulting practice at Deloitte, and earning his MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Terry holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. 

 

Terry is active in his community, participating in various governance roles with the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, Advancing Macomb, World Medical Relief, and the Madison Heights / Hazel Park Chamber of Commerce.  He currently serves on the Finance Committee of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, and on the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Detroit. He is married to Debbie, and has two children, Emily (18) and Will (14).  The Hamiltons reside in Troy

Discussion - Eric Stephenson, Brewing Tech. Instructor, Schoolcraft Community College - ”Craft Beer Brewing”

Eric Stephenson is a faculty member at Wayne Country Community College in its Craft Brewing Program and is employed at Rad Tap Draught Solutions, which services breweries throughout Michigan. 

 

Eric served as a lead brewer at a local Macomb County brewery.    

 

He also writes for Detroit Beer Press and is the host of their weekly podcast.
