From a family of secular religious scholars, Gus Mondalek brings a unique perspective to the situation in the Middle East. Born in Kuwait for an expatriate family , he spent his formative years in Lebanon during the civil war. He is a graduate of American University in Beirut, and holds multiple advanced degrees from Lawrence Technological Institute.
