Dr. David Dulio, Professor and Chairman, Department of Political Science, Oakland University
"Elections: Revisiting 2016 with an Eye Toward 2018"

Professor David A. Dulio is Chairman of Oakland University's Political Science Department and Director of the University's Center for Civic Engagement.

 

His teaching and research focus is American politics.  Dulio has published ten books, including Michigan Government, Politics and Policy and Campaigns from the Ground Up, as well as articles and book chapters on subjects ranging from the role of professional consultants in U.S. elections to campaign finance. 

 

Dulio recently completed a major study of the 2016 election in Michigan and will discuss how that election might foretell results for the upcoming 2018 election.  He earned his BA from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from American University in Washington, D.C.
