                         The U.S. New Vehicle Industry in 2015 – Best Ever?

Mark Seng is the Global Aftermarket Practice Leader for IHS Automotive. He is responsible for leading the company’s global aftermarket product development strategy.


Seng began his automotive career in 1984 and has 30 years’ experience in both the North America and global aftermarket business. Prior to IHS Automotive, he held various positions

in distribution, sales, international marketing, and product management for Federal-Mogul. 


Seng has been actively involved with industry causes throughout his career. He served on the AutoCare Association’s Technology Committee for 8 years, served as NCMA president from 2004-2007 and has been a member of the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium Program Committee for the past 7 years.



Tom Libby serves as Manager of both Loyalty Solutions and Industry Analysis, focusing on the U.S. new and used vehicle industries.  In this role he provides data and analysis to several automotive clients, and he also gives data and commentary to the media.  


He has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and industry analysis in the U.S. new and used vehicle markets.  Mr. Libby currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Automotive Analysts, and served as president of this organization in 2009.


Mr. Libby holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Amherst College and an MBA in marketing from Columbia University.  He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Market Research at Pepperdine University.
