Lynn Henning has been a Detroit News sportswriter and columnist since 1979, except for a brief interlude in the 1990s as a national golf magazine editor.

 

He has written about all sports, with particular emphasis on the Tigers, Michigan, and Michigan State.

 

His three books include the Spartan Seasons series on Michigan State's sports history, as well as co-authoring Kirk Gibson's autobiography: Bottom of the Ninth.

 

Lynn is a Michigan native and MSU graduate who now lives in Troy.

Bill Winkler and Tom Kavanaugh are principals in the consulting firm of Winkler, Kavanaugh, and Associates,  L.L.C.    Bill earned his BA from Wayne State University.  For the past 15 years he has successfully raised funds for various nonprofit organizations, including overseeing a $20 million endowment campaign for Gleaners Community Food Bank.  At Wayne State University, he served as Assistant Director of Planned Giving, a major gift officer for the WSU's Medical School, and as the coordinator of the Medical School’s Capital Campaign. 

 

Tom Kavanaugh received his BA from Holy Cross and his JD from MSU.  He has held numerous senior management fundraising positions at private and public universities, including Hillsdale College, Siena Heights University, Northwood University, Oakland University and Wayne State University.  Tom is an active member of the Michigan State Bar's Probate and Estate Planning Section.
