Mark Rieth, owner of the Atwater Brewery, will be speaking on “Craft Beer, Changing the Michigan Economy”.   Mark is a native Michigander and a graduate of Michigan State University.

 

After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business in 1989, Mark spent his early career years working in the automotive business.  This involved several marketing assignments around the country including Torrence, California, Boston,, Massachusetts, and Phoenix, Arizona prior to his relocation back to Detroit in 1997, the same year that the Atwater Brewery was founded.

 

In 2002, Mark became an investor in the Atwater Brewery and then in 2005 he assumed complete control of the brewery.  Since that time he has grown the business from an annual output of 250 barrels to more than 30,000.

Discussion

Speaker: Pat Enloe has been with Almas Hi-Fi Stereo for 25 years, dating back to the move from their store on Maple Road in Birmingham. Their current location on Woodward Avenue has added Home Theater on the building and is undergoing remodeling. The emphasis is still on the audio part of the A/V Home Theater experience.

 

Topic: New Technology in Home Theater and Beyond.  

 

Equipment is constantly being developed to bring the true theater experience into the home. This discussion will feature Audio equipment including surround speakers, sound bars, receivers, and control systems. Also discussed will be Video from large flat screen high definition TVs and home theater projectors and screens. Interfaces will be discussed including disc players, streaming, computers, and smartphones.
